Tory Thompson, PTA

Tory Thompson, PTA, earned her Associates of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Technology at Kent State University East Liverpool. Tory joined Summit Physical Therapy 2023 while completing her first clinical rotation and continued as an aide while studying for her license and was offered a full-time physical therapy assistant job in Toronto, OH, clinic. She wanted a job that helped people and was inspired to become a PTA after a sport injury in high school. Fun fact Micheal Ludewig was her physical therapist. “I enjoy working with people and being able to help them get back to do things they love. It is awarding to see patients progress throughout their therapy.” In her personal time, Tory enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her pets. She enjoys bowling, the outdoors, and reading.
